After dealing with a bad case of acne, one can not give a sigh of relief just yet as acne scars still remain. There is usually scarring involved when the acne has been left untreated for a long time and if there's picking and squeezing of the acne involved. If you have acne scars don't despair as there are plenty of treatments available. Find out here!

Most people regard acne scars being worse more devastating than the acne itself. Its is common for people to not address acne breakouts. The reason? Well, the truth is there are two most popular reasons. Some ignore their acne problem while some got tired and stressed out trying out various acne solutions that they waved their white flag and surrendered to acne. Acne breakouts that have been left untreated for a long time usually result to scarring.

Acne should be treated immediately to minimize the chances of scarring. But if you already have acne scars, there is no point wishing you could have paid immediate attention to treating your bouts of acne. The good news is there are plenty of treatments available for acne scars removal. So what are your options? The kind of treatment will depend on the acne scars that you have. Let us first get to know the types of acne scars.

Types of Acne Scars

Rolling, Boxcar and Ice-Pick - There are various types of acne scars. The rolling, boxcar and ice pick scars leave a hole ppr depression on the surface of the skin. These scars can either be deep or shallow. The ice pick scars are deep scars. This type of acne scarring appears like the skin has been pierced using an ice pick, hence the name.

Keloid Scars – Those acne scars that look raised are what we call as keloid scars. Keloid scars can also be those spots that look darker than the rest of your skin.

Acne Scar Remedies

Chemical Peels – Acne scars or marks that are shallow are usually treated with chemical peels. Chemical peels have a mild acid usually lactic acid or glycolic acid. The mild acid peels off the outer layer of the skin therefore exposing the new layer under. This process also promotes new skin to grow. If you have dry skin, lactic acid is better suited for your skin as it is very mild and rarely triggers reactions. It is recommended that the concentration of the acid used in chemical peels is at most 20%. It is always best to consult a dermatologist for a chemical peel process.

Laser Treatments - Acne scars especially those that are deep can be stubborn and hard to get rid of. You may want to undergo laser acne removal treatment. Talk to a dermatologist for this procedure.

Natural Remedies – If you are more for natural remedies, you have plenty of options to choose from. Some acne scar sufferers have found simple kitchen ingredients as effective acne removal remedy. Lemon, garlic and turmeric are among the popular natural acne scar removers. You can give these ingredients a try and see if they would work for your skin too. You should keep in mind that one’s skin is different from another. You may need to try and experiment withe natural remedies but these common kitchen ingredients are generally safe. Unless of course you have an allergy to them.

Argan Oil – Many have hailed this oil as the liquid gold of Morocco treating many skin problems including acne scars. Argan oil is packed with nutrients that keep the skin healthy, youthful and blemish-free.

The problem with pimples is that the bigger they are, the more likely we'll pop them. Unfortunately, after curing the red spots its scars will continue to haunt us for a long time if we don't do something about them. Here's the good news! There are simple remedies you can do at home to lighten your scars. Regular application of Argan oil, for instance, is one. More acne home remedies here.

The problem with pimples is that the bigger they are, the stronger our need…I mean…urge to prick them and pop them and squeeze them to oblivion. Unfortunately, the more we try to hurt these enemies of ours, the more likely they are to strike back…in the form of ugly, dark scars that we’ll likely have FOREVER!!!

Okay, not forever…if you do something about it. The darkness of your scars will naturally lighten in the next two years as new collagen forms. However, the affected area will still be darker to some extent because hair follicles and sweat glands will not return. You can still make this area relatively lighter though with these simple home remedies. Do these treatments regularly and you’ll soon forget that you had those scars in the first place.

Argan Oil
You don’t need a pen or paper for this. There are no formulas or combinations to memorize. Just apply a few drops of this miracle oil on the affected area regularly and that’s it. The secret is in its composition. Hailed as the liquid gold, Argan oil is packed with essential nutrients and vitamins that promote cell regeneration. This process is important for the formation of new collagen that lighten spots. On top of this, this miracle oil is also loaded with Vitamin E which plays a major role in minimizing dark scars and even wrinkles. Its essential fatty acids also help control overproduction of sebum which can lead to acne!

Honey and Lemon
If you’re the type who enjoys concocting stuff then you can try out this simple remedy at home. Squeeze lemon juice into a small bowl. Cleanse face with warm water and dab lemon juice onto the scarred area using a cotton ball. Leave it for 5 to 10 minutes before washing it off with warm water. The acidity of lemon juice will help lighten scars eventually. Before going to bed, apply manuka honey on the troubled spot. Let it dry before sleeping. Wash off in the morning. For a sweet kick, you can add a tablespoon of cinnamon for every 3 tablespoon of manuka honey. Make sure to apply a moisturizer on the affected area in the morning before going out. These treatments will make the scarred area more sensitive to the sun so it’s best to apply also sunscreen on top of the moisturizer.

Tips
Just to be safe, consult your doctor before self-medicating. Also, honey and lemon can cause irritation in some skin types so don’t worry too much if you started itching. If problem persists though, go back to your doctor.

You don't have to go through life with an acne-scarred face. While it is difficult, getting rid of those unsightly scars is not impossible. Prevention is key so you won't have to spend a lifetime getting rid of old and new scars. Addressing new pimples the right way is another. For old scars, it's best to use products that are natural and organic such as the Argan oil. Find out more here!

A life with an acne-scar free face is, definitely, the dream life. Don’t you agree? But often, this life remains a dream and not a reality for a lot of men and women. As much as they want to move past their past facial transgressions, the scars are constant reminders that just don’t go away. But there is hope.

While this dream is difficult to achieve, it is not impossible. So stop daydreaming and start doing something. Your dream life is just a few steps away.

Prevention is Key

Another old advice but is still true. If you want to have a face free of acne scars, first, make sure to prevent more scars in the future. This requires you to be diligent with your skin care routine to prevent new zits from popping up. If they still pop up occasionally, don’t pop it. Your scarred face is proof enough that this method just doesn’t do your face any good.

Tone Down Redness

Calming the redness of your break outs will help them heal faster. Also, an already toned-down pimple might make the experience more tolerable therefore, preventing you from popping the annoying pimple on your own. However, if you really can’t help but be a bad girl, make sure to use a mild exfoliant after popping it. This will help remove the scarred skin cells and facilitate faster healing.

Find the Right Product

Now it’s time to tackle your old battle scars! For this step, it’s crucial that you find the right product. If you’re prone to breakouts, it’s safe to assume that your face is more sensitive than others. So I suggest products that are all natural and organic. The buzz lately is on a so called miracle oil from Morocco. Have you heard of Argan Oil? If you’re a constant reader of beauty magazines and sites dedicated to beauty then I’m sure you’ve already read about this oil.

Moroccan Argan Oil

Argan oil is 100% natural and organic. It even has a culinary version that you can drizzle on your food. That’s how safe it is. This oil is packed with nutrients that help you in steps 1,2 and 3! It has Vitamin E that helps you get rid of scars and prevent future break outs. It’s sterols, meanwhile, facilitates faster healing so it’s good for step 2. Another great component of this oil is its prostaglandins which help skin cells grow. This is very important if you want to get rid of those unsightly scars. Did I mention that it prevents wrinkles too? Yes, ladies, miracle oil, indeed!

Acne scars can actually scar one's confidence which is why many would move heaven and earth to banish these scars. An effective natural treatment for acne scars is Argan oil!

Pimples itself are quite embarassing already. But the agony does not stop with pimples. After finally getting rid of pimples, you will still need to deal with the scars they leave behind.

For most people who suffered from mild to severe acne, pimple scars are just as bothersome and embarassing as the pimples itself or even worse. But the good news is there are ways to get rid of acne scars. While we have surgical methods as well as medical means to treat acne scars such as microdermabrasion, we also have relatively safer and less expensive ways to get rid of these bothersome scars. Think more natural! Yes! we are talking about nature’s beauty gifts to us!

Moroccan Argan Oil: Nature’s Gift

Essential oils are known for having numerous beauty benefits especially to the skin. One essential oil that is getting much attention in the market today is the Moroccan Argan oil. This oil is extracted from the fruitseeds of the Argan tree which exclusively grow in the southwestern region of Morocco. Often this Moroccan oil is referred to as the liquid gold of Morocco because of its wonderful benefits to the skin, hair and nails!

What makes this oil effective in getting rid of acne scars? The answer is found in its components! Let us get to know more about the nutrients in the oil that play a major role in banishing acne scars!

Components of Argan Oil That Get Rid of Acne Scars

What components of this oil are helpful in getting rid of acne scars?

Vitamin E – Vitamin E is a nourishment for the skin. Not only is it a major player in getting rid of acne scars, it also helps in preventing them!

Sterols – Aside from locking in moisture, Sterols also keep the skin cell membranes healthy and improves the natural healing and other metabolic processes of the skin.

Prostaglandins – Prostaglandins in the Moroccan Argan oil help skin cells grow and develop helping the skin renew and get rid of scars.

The oil is also packed with nutrients that help control acne. Acne is actually a skin inflammatory disease. Since this oil is loaded with nutrients having anti-inflammatory properties such as Sterols, Prostaglandins, Vitamin E, Polyphenols and Triterpens, this makes the oil effective in preventing acne from getting worse. Its essential fatty acids help bring down sebum production to a manageable level. We all know that sebum is nourishment for the acne-causing bacteria naturally found in the skin. If the skin is overproducing sebum this means that the acne-causing bacteria will thrive which logically will lead to more acne.

Other Essential Oils for Removing Acne Scars

Here is a list of other essential oils that will banish acne scars!

White camphor essential oil

Roman chamomile essential oil

Elemi essential oil

Rosewood essential oil

Yarrow essential oil

Lavender essential oil

You can combine 1/2 tsp of each of these oils plus the Moroccan oil to come up with a very potent acne scar remover! Just place the mixture on a container with a tight lid and shake before each use!

The Moroccan Argan oil can effectively remove these unwanted acne scars. The oil is rich in Vitamin E which works well in reducing and preventing scars. There are other methods to get rid of acne scars. Find out more here!

What’s worse than acne? Many would say acne scars. And on some level, this is actually true. Not only do acne scars reveal and constantly remind you of your acne past, they are very hard to treat and wipe out. Getting rid of acne scars is a lengthy process. Some are even not lucky enough to successfully get rid of their acne scars.

Many are bothered with the thought of having to wear scars on their skin permanently. They do have an effect on how you look and the worst part is most of the time these scars actually negatively impacts one’s self confidence. So the question remains. Is there really a way to remove acne scars?

Do not hold your head too low as there are treatments that can get rid of acne scars. You can go for clinical treatments or you can stick with the traditional methods which involves creams and oils for removing acne scars.

Ways to Get Rid of Acne Scars

Clinical Treatments

Here are some of your options for clinical treatments in removing acne scars.

Dermabrasion – To get rid of mild acne scars you can consult a certified dermatologist for a dermabrasion. Dermabrasion is usually used to remove mild acne scars. Usually this treatment is used for those acne scars that left shallow grooves on the skin. In this procedure, a dermatologist uses a vacuum-type tool which bombards the skin with crystals that are so fine. The fine crystals are meant to plane the epidermis so that the surface of the skin is at the level of the scars’ grooves. Dermabrasion effectively makes the scars less noticeable. However this procedure puts one at a greater risk of getting infections because of planing down the skin.

Laser Acne Scar Treatment – If your acne scars are extensive but not that deep, laser acne scar treatment can get rid of these bothering scars. However, this treatment can be on the pricey side. If you are getting this treatment, make sure that you only get this treatment from a certified medical professional.

Collagen Injections – For those pitted “ice pick” scars as well as flat tissue paper scars, collagen injection is a solution. If you are considering this option, you should give this process a serious thought and choose a certified professional carefully. We’ve seen botched collagen injections in celebrities and for sure, this is something you would want to avoid.

Surgery – For serious acne scars, those that are deep and disfiguring, you can undergo a surgical procedure and have aplastic surgeon cut out the scars.

If these clinical treatments sound too invasive for you, you can try the old or traditional technique which is applying creams, oils and lotions on the scars.

Moroccan Argan Oil

If you’re looking for an effective scar remover, the Moroccan Argan oil fits the job description. This precious oil of Morocco is loaded with Vitamin E. Vitamin E is known to not only reduce the appearance of scars but also to prevent scarring. The Moroccan Argan oil hold numerous nutrients that are essential to the process of skin cell renewal and its overall health such as essential fatty acids, Prostaglandins, Sterols, Polyphenols, Ferulic acid and many more. Regularly apply this oil on your scars at least twice a day for best results.

Many people around the globe still carry the marks of acne breakouts with them. Some people have been carrying these marks all the way back from their adolescent years. But you can do something about it. There are treatments available that would get rid of these marks.

It is safe to assume that millions of people all around the world wear the marks of acne breakouts. Acne seems like a double punishment as breakouts usually occur when one reaches adolescent years and we all know how tough life can be during this stage in our lives and on top of this scars or marks seems to be bent on staying on your face forever to serve as a constant reminder.

Whether we admit it or not acne scars can really leave a sting. They crush our self-confidence and the scars are really not that attractive to look at. Hats off to you, if you have much strength and confidence in yourself that you are not negatively affected by acne scars. But to most of us, the truth is acne scars do impact negatively our self-confidence. Is there any hope left? The good news is, yes there is!

Just like any other scars, acne scars come about because of an injury or wound. When the skin heals itself, a scar forms.
If the dermis gets damaged scarring would occur. In the case
of acne, scars happen because of the skin lesions that are inflamed. Did you know that there are different types of acne facial scars?

Various Types of Acne Facial Scars

Boxcar Scars – If you are wondering how this type of acne facial scar looks like, they are the wide, oval or round depressions having steep sides. Boxcar scars happen when the acne breakout damages the collagen which leads to the loss of tissue. The best treatment for boxcar scars are laser resurfacing, dermal fillers or punch elevation.

Ice Pick Scars – If you have the deep and narrow scars from acne then you have what are called ice pick scars. This type of acne scar is because of a deeper infection. Usually the punch elevation treatment is what’s used for this type of scar.

Rolling Scars – You may feel like rolling in the deep when you have this type of acne facial scar. Rolling scars look like waves and the treatment often used for this is subcision. This process involves removing the scar from the inner tissue which would then let blood pool under the scar which would result in to the waves having a more level or flat appearance.

Keloid – This type of scar is the bright red and raised ones. They are usually found on other parts of the body but they do appear on the face as well. The bad news about this type of scar is that they usually grow larger than the wound which caused them because of too much collagen produced as a response to the acne breakout. Laser treatment, injections and cortisone creams are often used to treat such scar.

Moroccan Argan Oil for Acne Scars

If you want a more naturaland non invasive acne scar treatment, you can use the Moroccan Argan oil. The Moroccan Argan oil can help prevent and reduce the appearance of acne scars because of its high content of Vitamin E. It also has Prostaglandins which help skin cells develop and grow and Sterols which nourishes skin cell membranes, reduce inflammation and improve the natural processes of skin metabolism.

When you have been dealing with acne for more than a month and you are getting no results from anti acne products you use then it would seem like all hope is lost. You probably are starting to accept the reality that your acne breakout does not have any plans of going away and rather is planning to stay for good. When you have tried almost everything to remove your acne and all you get is nothing but frustrating results, you tend to slowly accept the reality of having acne all the years to come.

This is exactly how I felt when at 24 years of age, my skin started breaking out. During my teenage years, I never experienced acne breakout. I would have one or two very small pimples that would pop out every now and then, but usually they tend to go away within a week. Even during my college days wherein I was always up until the wee hours of the morning, I never had such a bad case of acne breakout.

Then came my 24th birthday. Everything was going along fine until summertime came. I started seeing small pimples coming out. I had them in my cheeks, my forehead and even on my neck. Since, I was used to my acne clearing up in a matter of days, I did not pay much attention and even did not use any anti-acne product. When weeks passed and I started noticing my acne breakout getting worse, I became a little concerned. I started not wearing make up as one of my attempts to reduce my acne problems. Plus I did not want to keep seing my acne-ridden face along with acne scars. The deep acne scars, I take responsibility for since I could not stop myself from popping my zits.

After almost 6 months of not addressing the problem, I consulted a dermatologist and I was given a long list of creams, solutions and topical ointments which did me good but it did cost me a lot. After I finished my first set of anti-acne products recommended by the dermatologist, I saw the improvement on my face and it was a vast improvement indeed but I no longer had the money to purchase the products. My skin did clear up and I only have a few acne scars left but being broke meant I no longer had the luxury to spend for my needed anti-acne products. My face was once again riddled with acne.

For years, I thought, my face would have acne and acne scars forever. I am now 28 and just a month after my 28th birthday, I was given a bottle of Argan oil. I have read much about the wonders of this oil on the skin and specifically in reducing acne and acne scars. From what I have read th oil is packed with nutrients such as Vitamin E, unsaturated essential fatty acids, Polyphenols, Sterols and numerous antioxidants that benefit the skin tremendously. After a week of applying the oil once a day, I started seeing improvements. Now after a month of using the Moroccan Argan oil, I only have a few less noticeable acne scars left.

Are you bothered by the scars that your acne left behind? It is true that acne scars can change someone's appearance and this is not the kind of makeover that most of us would appreciate. Can you honestly say that you want acne scars on your face or any part of your body? The Moroccan Argan oil is actually effective in removing acne and acne scars. Read and learn more here!

Acne in itself is already bothersome but to make things worse acne leave scars. Young boys and girls usually develop acne once they reach puberty stage. This is the time when hormonal changes happen and in the chaos of hormones, acne develop. However some do still experience acne breakouts even during their adult years.

What Causes Acne

Although many things such as hormonal changes, stress, diet and unhealthy habits are attributed to acne, the bottomline is acne is caused by a malfunctioning of the pilosebaceous unit. When this happens there is an overproduction of sebum which actually serves as nourishment for the acne causing bacterium called Propionibacterium acnes. This bacterium naturally inhabits the skin. The simple logic is the more sebum your glands produced the more of this bacterium will be inside the skin follicles. Acne will start appearing as the bacteria in the follicles will attract white blood cells in it and the white blood cells release an enzyme that is damaging to the walls of the follicles. The damaged walls of the follicles allow the bacteria to penetrate the dermis which now results to the red bumps we call as acne.

What Causes Acne Scars

Acne will normally leave behind scars once they are gone. However most of those who pick and squeeze their acne are the ones who commonly get acne sacrs. It seems like acne’s only intention is to spite people. Can you imagine your acne saying, you may have gotten rid of me but you will always remember me with the scars I leave behind. Can you hear its evil laughter reverberating? There are actually tow types of acne scars. The first type of acne scar is called the “rolling acne scars” which are scars with a gradual dip while the second type are deep and narrow. Most commonly the reddish or brownish acne footprints will eventually disappear without needing any treatment. You just need to wait for awhile about 12 months or so.

Moroccan Argan Oil Gets Rid of Acne Scars

But how about those that have mild to severe acne scarring? Is there any anti-acne treatment or any skin care product that would effectively remove scars? Yes, indeed there is!

Have you heard about the Moroccan Argan oil? This precious oil from Morocco is actually loaded with Vitamin E. Vitamin E is an essential nutrient for the skin. This nutrient is known to effectively prevent scarring and also minimise the appearance of scars. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from damages.

The oil also contains Sterolins. Sterolins are known to keep the skin cell membranes healthy, reduce inflammation and make the processes of skin metabolism better. The oil is also packed with other natural antioxidants and numerous essnetial nutrients to the skin such as unsaturated essential fatty acids, phenols, prostaglandins, carotenoids, ferulic acid and many more.

As you go further through your pregnancy and your morning sickness starts going away, other pregnancy woes will start appearing such as dry hair, dry skin, acne breakouts, acne marks and of course stretch marks. All of these things can be prevented and minimised by Argan oil.

Many women say that carrying a child in their womb is definitely a precious time in their lives second only to giving birth. However pregnancy also brings along some things that most women are not too happy about. Talk about impossible cravings that never seem to stop, soreness in the muscles, skin breakouts, dry skin, dry hair, swollen feet and hands and of course stretch marks.

There is a solution for most of these pregnancy woes and that is the Moroccan Argan Oil! Never heard about this oil? It’s quite unthinkable since the oil has been making waves in the beauty industry and across almost all nations. The oil is extracted from the nut seeds of the Argan fruits. The Argan trees bearing the fruits grow exclusively on the soils of Southwestern Morocco.

The oil has been called many names and the two nicknames that caught on were liquid gold of Morocco and Moroccan miracle oil. The oil has been used for many years now by the Berber tribe native to Morocco for culinary, medicinal and skin care purposes. Now, the oil has finally reached the modern world and what a loud bang it made and the moise continues to echo on!

So what can this oil do? Well, this liquid gold of Morocco can prevent stretch marks, bring the moisture back to your hair and skin, reduce acne, inflamation and get rid of acne marks and even soothe your aching muscles. With all of these benefits found in the oil, it is no surprising that many pregnant women are clamouring to get a hold of this precious oil from Morocco.

Preventing Pregnancy Stretch Marks with Argan Oil

During and after pregnancy, many women develop stretch marks in the bellies. Stretch marks are very common to pregnant women since as the baby grows inside the womb, the skin is stretched and at the rate that the skin is growing, its fibers are not able to handle this fast growth. The liquid gold from Morocco is effective in improving the elasticity of the skin therefore preventing stretch marks from appearing. Apply the oil daily on your belly in a circular motion.

Restoring Healthy Hair with Argan Oil

Because of the oil’s high content of Vitamin E, essential fatty acids and antioxidants, it can bring back moisture to your hair and restore it back to health. Massage about 12-15 drops of the oil unto your scalp and dry hair and let it soak. It is best to leave the oil overnight.

Keeping the Skin Healthy with Argan Oil

The essential nutrients that benefit the hair are also beneficial to the skin. Vitamin E is a nourishment for skin and essential fatty acids are great skin moisturisers. Antioxidants protect the skin from damages and aging.

Acne and Acne Marks

The oil is potent when it comes to controlling sebum production. Just like when you were a teen, during pregnancy, your hormones are going haywire therefore excess sebum is produced which can lead to acne breakouts. It also has anti-inflammatory components which prevents acne from getting inflamed and worsening. Its high content of Vit E prevents acne scarring.

Soothing Massage Oil

The oil is also soothing to the muscles. In fact Argan oil is used by people with arthritic and rheumatic conditions to relieve pain.

There are 3 common skin problems women are terrified of. These are cystic acne, varicose veins and acne scars. Women hate to have any of these skin problems because they ruin the appearance of their skin. And they will do anything and spend for anything that can save them from these problems.

To cut the work short for you, read more and learn about the solution to deal with these 3 skin problems. These are proven methods in dealing with cystic acne, acne scars and varicose veins.

Dealing with Cystic Acne

Cystic acne is a very painful facial condition. It start as a normal acne at first. Then an infection occurs in the pores. This causes a build up of white blood cells fighting the infection. Swelling occurs causing redness and large painful lumps.

The fastest solution for cystic acne is a corticosteroid injection. The cyst is expected to go away within days. The preventive measure is another story. Since cystic acne is caused by infection it is best to take oral antibiotics.

And to prevent the formation of clog sebum you can apply natural skin remedies or just plain topical retinoids. A good natural preventive remedy is Argan oil which can help unclogging spores and balance the amount of oil produced by the skin of your face.

Dealing with Acne Scars

Acne scars are normally caused by acne bursting or breaking. Sometimes, it is because we intentionally burst the lumps. Although scars are normal when we get wounds, continues scarring could leave a permanent mark.

The healing of the scar greatly depends on the regenerative properties of your skin. The healthier the skin the faster it can regenerate. The unhealthier it is the bigger the chance for the scar to become permanent.

A good way to promote skin regeneration is to exfoliate. Another is to provide your skin with essential nutrients. Argan oil is a great skin nourishing oil. It is rich with vitamin E and antioxidants that help promote skin regeneration and healing.

Dealing with Varicose Veins

This condition is also known as spider veins because of the spider-web patterns seen on the skin. These are capillaries that have swollen due to abnormal blood circulation in the lower extremities. In worse cases, the varicose veins end up bigger and darker.

Exercise is one of the easiest method in preventing this condition, focusing primarily on the legs. When you already have them the best way to get rid of these unwanted swollen veins is Sclerotherapy. This is an injection procedure where a certain chemical is injected to stop the swelling of the veins. A less invasive procedure is laser treatment. The oil from Morocco is also effective against varicose veins. The good news is the varicose veins are shown to be a hereditary condition. So if you mom did not have them, chances are you will not have them as well.

These are the proven ways of dealing with cystic acne, acne scars and varicose veins. Medicine and science have proven it so that means you no longer have any reason to doubt any of them. But just to be on the safer side, consult a dermatologist.
