Most of us call our hair a crowning glory. But not everyone are lucky enough to have and maintain such a crowning glory. As our hair is exposed to dirt pollution and the elements, our crowning glory just turns into one big hair mess.

Damage is bound to happen to hair. The elements can be harsh to our mane plus the styling we do are actually damaging to our lovely locks. Sure we want to wear a great hairdo everyday but as it turns out, all that blowdrying, ironing and even shampooing can be too much for our mane.

Time to treat the hair and bring back its former glory! How? It’s quite easy actually! You’ll need the Moroccan Argan oil in hand to renew, repair and replenish your mane! How can this oil bring back our crowning glory? Let’s find out!

Sure, we’ve been hearing and reading about the great hair benefits of this oil but of course we would want to hear some science backing up these claims! So why is Argan oil great for the hair? The simple answer lies in its chemical composition! So what’s in this oil?

Nutrients in Argan Oil

Essential Fatty Acids
The oil is made up of about 80% EFAs or essential fatty acids. EFAs have have moisturising as well as antioxidant properties. Because of its moisturising properties, hair is kept well hydrated therefore a smooth and silky hair is achieved. EFAs help protect hair from free radical or environmental damage as they act as antioxidants as well. EFAs are also a direct source of nourishment for hair pores and hair roots. Each strand of the hair is made stronger therefor split ends and breakage are prevented.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E is one of the key nutrients that makes this oil a great hair treatment. Vitamin E is an antioxidant which just like EFAs keep the hair protected from environmental damage. Vitamin E also has moisturising properties giving the hair that smooth and silky feel and look. Because Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant, not only will it protect the hair from environmental and styling damage, it also has the ability to repair damaged cellular membrane of the hair. This just means that hair is renewed, repaired and revitalised with regular use of the oil.

Sterols
Sterols is a key nutrient which makes this oil a great hair moisturiser or conditioner. When the hair starts drying out, it just means that your hair is not able to lock in moisture. Sterols has the ability to lock in moisture and prevent it from evaporating.

So if you want to bring back the glory in your locks, regularly condition it with Argan oil. The oil can be used as a regular conditioner in the shower. For deep conditioning, coat the hair with the oil, wrap a warm towel around your head after and leave it soaking in the oil’s goodness overnight. If you’re in a hurry, you can use the oil as a leave in conditioner. Will your hair get greasy? Absolutely NO! The oil is absorbed real quick, leaving you with smooth non-greasy locks!

Before doing any hair styling, see to it that your locks are healthy and protected from damage! Regularly condition your hair with Moroccan Argan oil so that your mane is kept healthy, smooth and protected from damage! Now, before you get a hair cut to get that new look you want, why not try changing the way you part your hair first? This simple trick can actually transform your look! Read on!

When you want to sport a new look, you would probably get a new hair cut. But did you know that you can get a new look without the shears? You read that right! How? Change how you part your hair and voila, you have a new look!

Before we go on further with hair parting, be sure to keep your hair healthy first. Use Argan oil on your hair regularly so you’ll have beautiful hair no matter what!

Most of us have a natural way of parting our hair and for the most part, we stick to such way of parting. But did you ever consider of parting your hair in a different way?

Why not experiment with different ways of parting your hair? By doing this you would get the chance to know which hair parting will give you that angle that highlights your best features. The fun part about trying out new ways of parting your hair is you’ll see your look transform instantly!

Here are some tips to make your quest for the perfect hair part easier!

For Heart-Shaped Faces
The ideal part for heart-shaped faces with long mane would be the middle hair part but for those with short hair or those with quite a lot of layers around theface, the side part would be the more ideal option. This is because heart-shaped faces tend to have a wider cheek area. By doing a side part when you have tons of layers around the face or when you have a short do, your hair would be covering the forehead and the cheek areas therefore creating an illusion of a thinner face.

For Round-Shaped Faces
The best part would be a deep side part to highlight the strongest side of your face. A deep side part will make the shape of your face longer therefore creating a balance in your features. The first thing you need to do is find out first which side of your face has that strongest pull. It’s quite easy to actually find out which one is strongest (or in this case stronger than the other). Just get a blank piece of paper or anything that you can cover half of your face with and look in front of the mirror. Then switch the cover to the other side. Which of the two sides do you prefer? Whichever is your answer is the strongest!

For Square-Shaped Faces
Your best pick in hair parting would be one that would create a softening effect on your forehead and jawline. And this would be a deep side part as this will allow your hair to fall diagonally across your face and also hide those harsher angles of your face. This will give that illusion of a rounded oval shape. In doing the deep side part, it is best to start right above where your eyebrows arch!

The Oval-Shaped Faces
Otherwise known as the luckiest of them all when it comes to hair parting. Oval-shaped faces will look great in any part, whichever side, whichever way and whichever style! So if you have an oval-shaped face, give everything a try and sport a new look every so often!

With Argan oil, you don’t have to go through life with damaged hair. Experts say there is a right way to iron your hair regularly with minimal damage. Determining your hair type and finding the right iron are a good start. However, ironing your hair will still have an effect so treating hair regularly with products that could bring it back to its former glory is a must.

This subject got me all excited (squealing inside…Eeep!) Yes, I am Miss Iron Lady, someone who can’t go out without ironing her hair first. My friend asked me before if I’m unafraid of damaging my hair. My usual response is that my hair already looked damaged so might as well damage it with a tool that would make it appear great, right? Right? Apparently, experts do not agree. ( I’m not surprised!)

Celebrity hairstylists say there is a way to minimize damage from ironing your hair regularly. They insist if you iron your hair the right way, you don’t have to say goodbye to healthy hair forever. Follow these tips and you’ll be ironing your hair guilt-free.

Small, Medium, Large
Apparently, flat irons come in different sizes. You have to pick the right size to minimize risk of overheating and damaging your tresses. For short hair, experts say it’s best to use irons with plates half an inch to one inch thick. This will make it easier for you to iron your hair in sections. If you have long hair though, wider plates are advisable. This will allow you to cover more area faster, reducing your hair’s exposure to heat.

Hot, Hotter, Hottest
Aside from size, there is also the right heat setting for your hair. You’re lucky if the iron you have now have heat settings. If you have fine or damaged hair, set your iron to 250 to 300 degrees. If you have medium or average hair, you can go a little hotter than that, around 300 to 350 degrees. You can go up to 350 to 400 degrees if you have thick or coarse hair.

Gentle Irons
Not all irons are created equal. Go for those that use ceramic, tourmaline or titanium metal plates. Experts say these irons heat more evenly and are gentler to your hair. Be wary though of irons that claim that they’re plates are ceramic or Teflon coated. Usually, these irons heat unevenly and can dry your hair more.

Prepping Your Hair is a Must
This means you cannot skip on your shampoo and conditioner when you have plans of ironing your hair for the day. Make sure your shampoo and conditioner suit your hair type as well. For instance, if you have very fine hair, then hair products that have volumising effect will help boost the effects from ironing. The same goes for the leave-in conditioner that you will be using right after shower. Make sure it has built-in heat protection technology that will minimize damage from the heat. Also, do not iron your hair when it’s still wet. Blow dry hair first before ironing.

Treat Regularly
Despite all these tips, ironing your hair regularly will still have an effect on your hair. To compensate, make sure you treat your hair regularly with products that could bring it back to its former glory. Argan oil is a great product you can use regularly. No need for a professional to help you with this. Just massage Argan oil from your scalp to your hair tips after shower.

The Moroccan Argan oil can help you get lovely locks. If you are dying to achieve a perfect crowning glory then listen to these tips from women with gorgeous and can we say perfect mane! Women with perfect hair share one secret. All religiously follow a set of good hair habits to maintain their luscious, to-die-for locks. Most of their hair secrets are here so read on!

They say nobody’s perfect. I guess this doesn’t apply to some aspects in life like hair. Apparently, there are women who have perfect hair. I know. You want to hate them too. However, since they’re willing to share their secrets, we are ready to forgive them, right ladies?

We’ve compiled their tips here. They may have different hair habits that fit their specific hair type but all agree that to have the perfect hair, you have to work for it. Work doesn’t necessarily mean expensive weekly treatments. Work, they clarify, is religiously following a set of good hair habits.

Less Shampoo
Too much shampoo actually makes hair dryer. Women with luscious tresses advise to use shampoo sparingly, maybe two or three times a week. Some recommended the use of shampoos that do not contain sulfate. They explain that this is so gentle that it’s not only good for the hair but for the environment too.

Don’t Settle for Just One Hair Product
Women with to-die-for hair admitted to switching up products often. They believe that eventually, even great salon products will no longer have an effect on their hair if their tresses got too used to them already.

Brush Gently
Did you know that some of the lucky ones admitted to not owning a brush? Yes, you read that right. Most of the women who sport a perfect mane said that they only brush their hair after shampooing it. Too much brushing, they explained, is damaging to the hair too so as much as possible, they stay away from the brush. If they do have to brush, they said they prefer to use natural fibre brushes.

Go Easy on the Drying
I literally rolled my eyes after hearing this. Like I said, I heat style my hair because unlike the lucky ones, my hair doesn’t actually look perfect without it. However, women with the perfect hair may have had those perfect tresses in the first place because they rarely heat style their hair even if the situation calls for it. Sacrifice, indeed!

Trim! Trim! Trim!
You need not go to a salon for a drastic haircut. Usually, that’s the main reason why we go there. Either we got tired of our long locks and wanted change or it’s just too long already. Have your hair trimmed regularly even if your hair length is still manageable. A split-end free hair is a step closer to a perfect crowning glory, don’t you agree?

Pamper Your Hair
When I say pamper, it doesn’t have to be an expensive visit to the salon. Many women with perfect locks say that natural home remedies is the best option if you don’t have the time and resources to hire a professional. One great product to have handy is Argan oil. This miracle oil from Morocco is packed with Vitamin E and essential fatty acids that are just great to nourishing and revitalizing hair. Argan oil is also rich in antioxidants that will protect hair from environmental damage.

Many women dread workouts because it's just painful. However, there are also those who refuse to go to the gym just because it will ruin a perfectly made blowout. Hair experts though assure that there is a way to preserve that blowout longer even if you're a fitness buff. Moisturising with non-greasy products like Argan oil is one. Read on and learn tricks in keeping your bouncy blowouts longer.

I’ve long given up on my dream of looking good on trainings. Whenever I go on sports mode, I’ve learned to accept my not-so-endearing look. I try my best to still look cute through my choice of attire on the field but it just isn’t the same with my hair up. What’s worse…on training days…I sometimes refuse to make an effort to style my hair all together. What’s the point, right? I’m just going to ruin it anyway.

Celebrity hair stylists though say there is a way to preserve a blowout even after an intense workout. Here are 5 things you could try out so you don’t have to dread your look on the gym, on the court or on the field!

Moisturise Before a Blowout
The key to a great blowout is a healthy hair. So you won’t have to sport an oily (but moisturized) do, make sure to treat your hair days before the blowout. Some may be skipping treatments altogether just to prevent their hair from becoming sticky. However, if your hair gets blowouts often, moisturizing your mane is a must to revitalize the locks that may have been damaged from styling. One great product that you should try out is Argan oil. What’s amazing with Argan oil is that it moisturizes your hair without leaving it feeling greasy after.

Be In. Use Dry Shampoo
Yes, this is the in thing for quite some time now. The reason — a few spritzes give you an excuse not to wash your hair for another day, allowing you to preserve your blowout longer. Use this before going to your workout, the powder from the dry shampoo absorbs the sweat and oil that you’ll definitely be releasing after an intense routine. Give your hair a few spritzes after workout as well in case the first round wasn’t enough to absorb all that sweat.

No to Ponytails
Ponytails are, without a doubt, blowout busters! If you want to preserve your bouncy hair longer, never put it up in a ponytail to prevent visible line marks on your hair. Instead, flip your hair upside down and divide it in the middle into two sections. Twist the sections around each other then roll them into a bun away from your sweaty neck. Unlike ponytails, this style let’s sweat evaporate through your hair instead of trapping it.

Use Headbands
Another trick to minimize sweat all throughout your hair is wearing sweat-absorbent headband. Since it goes around your head and nape, it prevents your hair from getting soaked in sweat from both body parts.

Don’t Touch Your Hair
I admit that I’m guilty of this. It’s the only way to keep your hair in “blowout” place, right? Wrong. Experts say the more you touch your hair during a workout, the more grease gets into your hair. And you know what grease does to blowouts…so please, hands off!

With an updated hair colour, don't forget to care for your hair with Moroccan Argan oil!

Now that a new season is approaching, it would be a good idea to start thinking about updating your hair. Whether you want a new hair colour, style, cut or do, the start of the fall season would be the perfect time to do this hair update!

Hair Colour for Fall

If you are wondering what’s the best colour for your mane this fall season, here are our tips!

For the Blondes
If you have blonde hair, the fall season is the best time to get lowlights. You can choose from beiges, rich golds and woodsy tones. Definitely for this season sporting a bit on the deeper warmer blonde colour is a grand idea.

For Brunettes
Most brunettes get brassy toning in their hair which most of us do not want. Getting lots of fadage is also a common occurence for brunettes during the hot days of summer. So for your makeover, deepening the brown a little bit more will be ideal. Adding a red tone like auburn to your crowning glory will also be lovely. You can also opt to get that caramel glaze tone to your hair especially if the summer season has given your brown hair that “summery ends”.

For Redheads
The problem about red hair whether it’s a natural colour or treated, is that when the summer season is nearing its end, the red hair can appear slightly faded and frazzled. So come fall season, adding shine and richness to it is a must! Try perhaps a glaze with a demi-colour or if you’re really up to getting that richness, a vibrant red colour is absolutely perfect! If you have a great hairstylist, that vibrant red tone will make your mane look and even feel better!

Definitely updating your hair colour to match the fall season will make your mane more beautiful. But before doing the updating, it is important to ensure that your hair is well cared for and protected from the damaging effects of the elements as well as all that styling!

Protect Your Hair with Moroccan Argan Oil
Regular application of Moroccan Argan oil on your hair will make it stronger and keep it protected from damage. The oil is packed with Vitamin E which effectively treats damaged hair. This nutrient helps restore natural hair and renew and rrepair the damage caused by damaging factors such as heat, wind and the sun’s UV rays.

Color treatments can actually cause damage to your hair amking them brittle and rough. The great thing about Argan oil is that it can cure brittleness of the hair and make the life of your colour treated hair longer. The essential fatty acids in the oil actually serve as nourishment to the hair roots and hair pores. This makes the protein bonding structures in hair therefore strengthening the hair and healing split ends problem!

Moroccan Argan Oil
Yes, this miracle oil from Morocco is not only great for the skin but for the hair too. (It also brings wonders to the nails.) This is because this liquid gold is packed with Vitamin E that nourishes and revitalizes damaged tresses. Vitamin E also promotes better blood circulation. By helping evenly distribute nutrients to all parts of the body including hair, Vitamin E promotes hair growth as well. Hair experts agree that this Moroccan oil may be the best hair treatment we have today to revitalise damaged hair. Argan oil is also rich in other antioxidants like Polyphenols, Ferulic acid and Carotenoids. These are very important to fight off free radicals and protect hair from environmental damage.

Jojoba Oil
If you want healthier hair, then you better try out Jojoba. This oil acts as a natural conditioner that is great for repairing damaged, split or tangled hair.

Extra Virgin Oil
If you want softer locks, extra virgin oil may just be the right conditioner for you. It is not only great for dry and damaged hair, this oil helps treat scalp conditions too.

Coconut Oil
This is also great for scalp conditions like dandruff and dryness. This oil provides intense nourishment as well which explains why those who regularly moisturize with this have shinier and smoother hair.

Sweet Almond Oil

Aromatherapy Oils

Minimise the Sticky Feeling
If you are scared that using these oils will make your hair look and feel sticky really don’t want to go out with your hair feeling and looking sticky, you can opt to use these oils during the weekend when you’re not going out.
The key to great hair is great scalp. Even if you have the best shampoo if you don't take care of your scalp, then you'll still end up with unhealthy hair. Take the time to massage your scalp regularly to promote blood circulation and hair growth. Massage with aromatherapy oils like Argan oil for optimal results. Read on to know the other aromatherapy oils you can use for your hair.

Who among you regularly give your scalp a good massage during washing? I’m sure many of you can relate that with our busy schedules, our hair routine usually involves just quickly shampooing our hair without really taking the time to massage our scalp. I wonder when’s the last time my scalp got massaged…Oh I remember! At a salon when I had my hair trimmed.

Why is it important to massage our scalp? Because a healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp. No matter how expensive your shampoo is, if you have an unhealthy scalp…in the end, you’ll still have an unhealthy mane. Good news is that you don’t have to go out of your way too much to have a healthy scalp. Just massage for a few minutes using aromatherapy oils and that’s it! Here are a few aromatherapy oils that you could use for optimal results. There are a number which have been clinically proven already so I’m sure that if you take the time, it’ll not be a waste of effort.

Argan Oil
This miracle oil from Morocco is more popularly known for its anti-aging benefits. However, did you know that this liquid gold is also great for the hair too? Yep. You read that right. Argan oil is rich in Vitamin E which is a nutrient great for hair growth. Since Vitamin E promotes better circulation, nutrients are well distributed all throughout our body including our hair. When nutrients are distributed evenly, then our damaged hair are repaired and renewed as well. Vitamin E also aids in our scalp’s oil production. Oil lubricates hair and prevents it from drying out.

This miracle oil is also packed with essential fatty acids that help promote stronger hair by strengthening our mane’s protein bonding structures. EFA’s also help heal split ends and solve dandruff. Whew! That was a long list!

Lavender
Lavender is also known to promote hair growth. In a study conducted in 1998, 44 percent of patients treated with Lavender showed significant improvement in hair growth. The study involved massaging the patients’ scalp daily with Lavender mixed with grapeseed and jojoba oils.

Rosemary
Rosemary also promotes hair growth. While it can be used alone, some experts recommend combining rosemary with apple cider vinegar. Massage onto scalp each night before bed.

Thyme
Like all three oils, thyme is also great for people suffering from slow hair growth and even hair loss. Thyme is a strong antiseptic and antimicrobial agent that invigorates the scalp by promoting blood circulation. Mix thyme with aloe vera and massage once into scalp daily.

Cedarwood
This oil is often used to treat dandruff as it helps cleanse scalp and roots. Experts suggest mixing it with vodka or pure grain for optimal results.

Argan oil has become popular. This so-called miracle oil from Morocco has been getting a lot of attention recently for the wonders it can do for the skin, hair and scalp. What may not be a common knowledge , meanwhile, is how to properly apply this liquid gold. This oil is potent that it's often used in combination with other ingredients. It can be used on its own though. Read on to know how.

Have you heard of this so called miracle oil from Morocco?
Whether or not you’re a beauty buff, I’m sure you’ve heard of it already. Argan oil has been getting a lot of buzz lately and for good reasons. Hailed as the liquid gold, Argan oil is not only good for the skin, it’s also great for the hair and nails too.

What most of you might not have heard of before, though, is how to apply this precious product. The “applying-more-for-better-results” mentality is not always the best approach and in this case this mentality is not going to work. A few drops will already do wonders so better read on if you want your bottle of liquid gold to last longer.

Mix It
This oil is a natural extract of raw seeds from the fruit of Argan trees. This makes it a potent source of essential nutrients which is why it’s often mixed with other aromatherapy oils like sweet almond oil or Rose oil. However, you can use this in its pure raw form also but in smaller amounts.

How to Apply Argan Oil On Your Skin
This liquid gold is very absorbent so a few drops gently massaged on troubled spots will already do. You can opt to set aside your other lotions and night creams if you’re using this as your moisturizer. In case your concern are wrinkles and scars, you can apply the oil twice a day, preferably morning and evening. You don’t need to have a skin problem though to regularly moisturize the skin using this oil. For instance, women who are planning to get pregnant or are in their early days of pregnancy can already apply the oil regularly to preempt the appearance of the inevitable unsightly stretch marks. Also, you can use this as a make up base since the oil is non-greasy.

How to Apply Argan Oil on Your Nails
On the nails, this oil is used hand in hand with lemon juice. Make a 50-50 mixture of the two then dip your fingers up to your cuticles for a couple of minutes. Doing this regularly will help strengthen and smoothen your nails and give your cuticles a nice shape. The same goes for your toes and feet. Regular treatment will help you get rid of calluses and other foot-related problems.

How to Apply Argan Oil On Your Nails
You can be a little generous on your use of miracle oil in this case. Massage the oil on your scalp and spread it evenly from roots to tips half an hour before shampooing. You can use a comb or brush to evenly distribute it throughout your head. For better results, you can opt to wrap your oiled hair with warm towel after. If you don’t have time for a 30 minute treatment then you can use this oil after bath as it works better than wet gels. Two to three drops on your palm will do. Brush hair and see how just a few drops can boost your mane’s lustre.

Most women exert effort to make their hair look good with styling. Experts, however, say that effort and time should be devoted on taking care of your hair rather than styling. They insist by shampooing correctly and moisturizing regularly with organic products like Argan oil, your hair will seldom need styling. If you're guilty of styling your hair too much, you shouldn't miss reading this!

My daily hair routine goes something like this. I wash my hair with water. I shampoo it. I rinse it again with water after. That’s how simple my routine is. The complicated part happens after showering…when I pick up my flat iron and style my hair for a good 30 to 45 minutes. This is the only way my hair will look good. Without styling, I’d look like a lady with a broom on her head. I’m sure many of you share the sentiment.

Experts have no problem with this. They even agree that being presentable really takes time and effort. However, what they don’t agree on is the aspect most of us choose to spend our time and effort on. They insist that the time and effort part should be devoted on taking care of our hair and not on styling. If we put in more effort on the right way of washing our hair, then our tresses will seldom need styling.

Focus on the Right Places
When washing your hair, the focus should be on your scalp. Shampooing your entire length of hair can create flyaways that are often dull and coarse. Meanwhile, when conditioning, the focus should be on the tips. Conditioning the whole length of hair can make it look limp after.

Determine Your Hair Type
This will help you determine how frequent you should wash your hair. Those with oily hair should wash once a day. Those with chemically treated hair, meanwhile, should wash less frequently to avoid drying your already dry and treated tresses. The same goes for older women. As we age, our scalp becomes less oily so we may not need to shampoo as often. However, if you have flakes on your hair, you need to shampoo more.

Condition and Moisturise
Don’t ever skip this part even if you’re running late for your very important appointment. Conditioning your hair protects it from the sun’s UV rays so it’s important to take the time to do this after every shampoo. Moisturize also with organic products like Argan oil especially if you don’t have time to go to the salon to have your hair treated. This is the only way to revitalize your hair and bring it to its former glory. Argan oil, for instance, is rich in antioxidants that help protect hair from further damage caused by free radicals.

When You Go for a Swim…
Protect your hair! I know you want to look just like your favourite movie stars on films…emerging from water, their hair loose and glistening under the sun…but if you can help it, put on your swimming cap and condition just before swimming. Which would you rather have, a glistening hair exclusive on the beach or a great healthy one anywhere, everyday?
